A Little Birdie Told Me

In the greatest furniture find of my life I managed to bring home 4 very unique very beautiful dressers. This is one of them.  
Another is Dainty Delilah! 

For this one I had a vision right away! Out of the blue my sister confirmed my idea by giving me a suggestion on what to do with her, wouldn't you know it her idea was the same as mine. It was settled she would get a hand painted mural! Here she is before, not too shabby but a little 70's. 

With her new paint job she was ready to rock and roll. 

By freehand I drew out her pretty design and then painted it a white. 

After some light distressing on the edges and dark wax she was ready to be photographed. 


The handles were pewter and had a black center 

I took out the center piece and gave them a fresh coat of white and some dark wax. 

 The cute bottom detail really stands out now! 

I hope you like the her! Ill call her "Birdie".
