A few days ago I had mentioned to my mom that we should run into the thrift shop together, while our schedules didn't work out we both managed to get there just separately. I think my mom is like a thrift store lucky charm because every time she goes it just magically happens to be "50% OFF DAY"! So when she called and told me I made sure I ran down!
Lucky thing I did! Look at this cute little chair I scooped up! Its tag read $5 but because it was 50% off day I got it for $2.50 (even though the sign said "except furniture" I'm pretty sure the lady gave me 50% off anyway, isn't she sweet!)
If I had this blue anywhere in my home I would have left it because it was cute. However I do not have this shade of blue so it needed a paint job.
And wanna know another bonus?? I found this AWESOME-TASTIC ceramic-planter-thing in my shed left behind from the old owners! Thanks old owners its lovely.
Now if my planters would fill in with flowers we would be in business.
